stay out of it. i have dealt with crazy friends boyfriends . my best advice: stay out of it and let your friend deal with him by herself.

Harrison

This is a complex situation for sure. I think if I really cared about my friend I would ask her to come over and talk privately to me about the guy. Like tell her what he's done to you and that if she goes at this rate with him she isn't going to have many friends. I'm sure you would be there for her until the end but it would also be scary for you to come over if she is thinking about spending the rest of her life with this guy... to me, no girl should be treated this badly... EVER so she obviously deserves much better (tell her this too)... when and if you tell her this, say it in a way that isn't imposing but is definitely concerned for her well being. People like him can change people like your friend... and when i say change i mean they usually will start feeling down on themselves more and feel depressed. As for her if she doesn't want to listen or hear what you have to say, all you can do is be a good friend and kind of let her figure this one out on her own... i hope this helps.

Tyler

yes it is abuse, and I hate to say it your dammed if you do and your dammed if you don't You can call the police on him, but this may cause problems for her instead of helping her. just try talking to her and let her know how you are feeling, and try to be there for her, from the sounds of it, if she is wise she will leave this abusive relationship

Both verbal and mental abuse...
But there is not a great deal that you can do.
lf she keeps going back to this jerk...then she wants her head read.
