How can you tell if he is capable of mental abuse?

Does anyone know early signs of a guy who is practiced at mental abuse? I know some people are really good at it, and say things and act a certain way….Please help.

If your asking this sort of question then in your own mind you must know he is capable of it. Is he controlling?

they are manipulative but it comes off as charming. eventually they will start picking on little things about you and try and make you change them. could be really subtle (such as you wear too much make up, girls don’t need high heels). they are very smart and are charmers at first. eventually the mental abuse will come up and will cycle from good to bad)

There is no way really because a lot of intelligent bright women fall victim to someone who becomes an emotional abuser.. but most of the time these people don’t start off like that. otherwise you would not start a relationship with them.. but they tend to be always a little bit ”controlling” or telling you to do it differently.. always try to correct you.. that is an indication if that happens a lot.. someone is controlling to some extent that this can get worse… that can lead to emotional abuse.. in some cases.. not always but it is an indicator xxx
